Give Me Hope Training

In January 2016, I am going to Debre Zeyit, Ethiopia!

That is only 3 weeks away! Events came together quickly for a project that has been in the works for 4 years! Our dream was to resource and equip lay teachers in Ethiopia to effectively help children who live in high risk situations. Churches care for and educate thousands of children and yet have no materials being generated from within their country.

As well as providing curriculum that has been contextualized for Ethiopia, we will begin training teachers and leaders who will pass on what they learn.

The project is called Give Me Hope.

What will I be doing?

After the first day of training by a representative from David C Cook, Teresa, our program director and I will be teaching and leading workshops for two more days on topics such as Identity in Christ, Walking with God, and how to study the Bible. We will then repeat the training for a group of high school students who are involved with Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia.

We need only $3,000 for this training event, or $50 per person to equip them for ministering to the next generation!

If you would like to give towards this project, please check HERE.

Thank you!

We will post updates on the Acts 8 Ministries Facebook page.
